Convergent – SLABARMOR System

The SlabArmor™ Concrete Finishing System is a two-step process that enables you to:

Consolidate the surface cap producing a highly refined, less permeable slab.
Attain abrasion resistance and wear characteristics comparable to trap rock or dry-shake hardeners.
Enhance and protects both natural and integral colored concrete.
Reduce maintenance expenses and upkeep requirements over the life of the slab.

SlabArmor™ Starter penetrates the cap up to 27mm while SlabArmor™ Closer cross-links with Starter up to a depth of 13mm resulting a denser, more abrasion resistant floor.

Ideal applications Include industrial flatwork, residential construction and big box projects.

Description

Convergent SlabArmor Starter

Using power trowels, this nano-sized technology creates a 27mm barrier allowing only 3% of the water to evaporate which ultimately eliminates volume loss cracking and curling. It acts as a finishing aid, holding water in for weeks if not months on end. It is invisible to the eye and almost impossible to apply incorrectly.

SlabArmor™ Starter extends material life by closing capilaries within the slab eliminating transmission of water and vapor which leads to mold and bacteria.

Denser concrete enhances insulation qualities and improves energy performance.

Convergent SlabArmor Closer

SlabArmor™ Closer dust proofs and hardens concrete in a single application. The low pH qualities provide better hardening characteristics and an attractive, longer lasting finish ideal for warehouses, distribution centers and retail stores. This spray on, leave on material is a fast acting formula allowing for minimal down time.

It is suitable for use on cementitious-based products and can be used in conjunction with diamond polishing and/or decorative color
