Whiteman HTX6H – Ride-on trowel
The HTX series 8-foot hydraulic trowel features innovative technology, operator comfort and ease of operation that contractors expect from the industry leader.
Drive System
- The 70HP Hatz 4H50TIC turbo diesel engine complies with US EPA Tier 4 Final emission requirements.
- The engine comes complete with a DOC exhaust system as standard, meeting all EPA requirements. Any modifications to this system will void the engine warranty.
- The patented Engine Power Management system senses engine load and adjusts the hydraulic pump stroke, allowing the engine to operate at peak performance.
- The six-blade spider assemblies ensure the flattest floors possible with 33% more blade contact.
Operator Controls
- Cruise control reduces operator fatigue during low-speed operations.
- Six LED lights provide state-of-the-art illumination for nighttime or indoor work.
- The retardant spray system, actuated by the controls located on the steering handles, provides uniform coverage of the slab surface.
- Proportional hydraulic steering has been enhanced to offer improved responsiveness with minimal operator effort.
- The SmartPitch™ control synchronizes the blade pitch for both rotors with a single button.
- The multifunction display provides the operator with easy-to-read data, including engine speed, fuel levels, and alerts.
- Rotor Jog facilitates lifting, allowing the operator to jog the rotors to prevent surface marring while standing in front of the machine.
- A 12-volt outlet and drink holder are provided for charging electronic devices and operator convenience.
Design
- The clamshell design simplifies maintenance and permits convenient access to all service items.
- The automatic shut-down feature stops the rotors from turning if the operator stands up while the engine is running.
- Increased chassis rigidity and stability are achieved by a lower center of gravity, which reduces body roll and improves steering feedback and operator control.
